The sensor has been designed for positioning in hard to reach areas, or focusing on small, precise locations for measurement and monitoring

Thanks to the sensor operating temperature of -55°C to +70°C, there is no freezing to be able to meet the application needs in a variety of environments

Each sensor has a minimum bend radius of R25 and has a Φ1.0 fibre optic core

These RS PRO optical cables can be run in existing conduit, cable trays or be strapped onto beams, pipes or conduit and they can be easily installed for expansions or retrofits in a range of applications

They are ideal for use in harsh environments because they are unaffected by electromagnetic and radio frequency interference from machinery and wireless transmitters, and because they do not carry electrical current, they are also ideal for use in explosive hazard environments
