Do fibre-optic cables carry electrical signals?

Long life
Produce superior surface finish
Reduce overall process time

No, fibre optic cables don't carry electrical signals. Because they don't physically carry an electrical charge, they're better protected from interference. This enhances their ability to transfer data quickly over much longer distances without suffering significant signal degradation.
