The Pfannenberg Exhaust filter provides secure contact service on the installation cut-out edges without the use of beryllium copper gaskets. It offers enhanced IP 54 protection through a foam seal and features a patented 4-corner fastening system for a more secure installation. The Filterfans is the culmination of 60 years experience in thermal management. Using filterfans is the most efficient and cost-effective way to remove heat from the electrical cabinet at ambient temperatures below target internal. In order to utilize this cost-effective and energy efficient cooling solution, the shielding effect of the electrical cabinet housing for EM radiation is reduced by the installation cut-out. When the EMC filterfan is used, this shield is securely closed via a metal grid so that EM radiation is attenuated before entry and exit.
