RS PRO RJ45 Boot for RJ45 Connectors
This RS PRO boot cap attaches to your panel mounting RJ45 connector to protect it from damage. It blocks dust from entering into the connection and causing jams or heat warping.
The unit's rivet, screw cap and chain are made from tough thermoplastic to provide resistance to build-ups of rust. The screw cap has a knurled design allowing you to tighten it by hand. The 64 mm rubber chain attaches to the panel mount to keep the unit extra secure. It also has a silicone rubber pad to further insulate the connection.
The cap carries an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP67 for high moisture resistance, keeping condensation and leaks from damaging the connectors. It's ideal for use with ethernet networks in industrial applications and other harsh environments, providing that extra amount of electrical shielding.
