The Sensirion SEN55 air quality sensor is part of the SEN5x family of environmental sensors.
The sensor module is designed for particulate matter, relative humidity/temperature, volatile organic compound and nitrogen oxide measurements. The SEN55 air quality sensor node’s proprietary algorithms allow simple integration in applications such as air purifiers, HVAC and air quality monitoring.

The Sensirion PM, RH/T, VOC and NOx air sensor has one driver for up to eight data signals with fully calibrated outputs. Communication is via a digital I2C interface, 5v dc voltage supply with low power consumption and high performance sensing parameters are just some of their features.
The SEN55 sensor, all in one sensor solution platform is compact, has a fast hardware design and produces high quality data (STAR engine). Sensirion Temperature Acceleration Routine (STAR) engine accelerates the SEN55’s sensor response to ambient temperature change by a factor of 2-3.

The SEK-SEN5x Evaluation kit, is also available see RS 238-9410 which includes 1 x SEN55 Sensor module, 1 x UART to USB adapter cable, 1 x 4-pin jumper wire cable.
