RS PRO Push Pad

Make sure emergency exits can be swiftly opened with this push pad emergency latch from RS PRO. The universal keep can be used for both single doors and rebated double doors. Designed to be surface mounted or mortised into a timber frame on single doors, the latch set has fixings for timbers included. It's supplied as either left or right-hand, but can be reversed on-site.

The body is constructed from lightweight, durable aluminium, with a strong steel shoot and corrosion-resistant stainless steel latch. The finish is silver stained. This pad bears the legend 'Push' in large, white-on-green letters that will be highly visible in an emergency.

The latch meets the EN1634-1 and EN179:2008 standards for use on fire doors. It also conforms to ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic discharge standards. Emergency latches of this type are generally used in commercial, industrial and public buildings.
