The 3M™ Welding Fume Respirator 9925 provides lightweight, effective, comfortable and hygienic respiratory FFP2 protection against dust, mist and metal fume and resist clogging for extended use against welding fume. These respirators have been designed specifically for welding applications to provide protection against ozone and welding fume, plus relief from nuisance odours.

Ideal for use on welding applications, it has an activated carbon layer that filters out ozone gas generated by MIG, TIG and ARC welding operations. The 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve reduces heat build-up and helps to provide comfortable protection in hot and humid conditions. A flame retardant outer shell helps safeguard against hot welding spatter, and the low profile design is ideal for use with welding shields and 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmets.

Robust and collapse resistant, it’s specially designed to work well with 3M Eyewear and Hearing Protection products. An adjustable braided headband helps give you a secure, yet comfortable fit.

These respirators generally will last about 8 hours or when it becomes too difficult to breath.

As part of the EN 149:2001 standard it has designated into three ratings. FFP3 offers the highest protection compared to FFP2 and FFP1.
