This knife-disconnect terminal block from Phoenix Contact lets you open a circuit quickly and safely without disturbing the wires. It's used in measurement applications or systems where you need to troubleshoot without disrupting service.
For straightforward control over connections, contacts are bridged using a knife-edge switch so you can remove and replace the unit as needed. To prevent accidental actuation, the knives engage in clearly identifiable end positions. Thanks to integrated test socket screws, it's easy to insert a standard test plug of 2.3mm for checking individual cables while conductors are connected. As this product is part of the CLIPLINE complete system, you can select compatible test and measurement accessories for a fully customised terminal block system to meet your needs.
