UKH High-current DIN Rail Terminal Blocks - Phoenix Contact

The UKH range of high-current terminal blocks are designed to be able to handle high currents & voltages, while still backing Phoenix Contacts brilliant build quality and features. Cables are connected into screw terminal and create a solid and reliable connection that is ensured by a three-point centring of the conductor in the prismatic sleeve base. Not to mention, the low contact resistance is achieved on the contact due to ribbing. These UKH terminal blocks feature an ATEX Ex rating, meaning they can be installed in potentially explosive areas.

Finally, the terminal blocks are designed to be mounted onto DIN rails and have a footing that can fit onto NS 35/15 and NS 32 rails.

Features and benefits:

  • High current ratings with a high voltage rating also

  • Strong screw connection method by means of spring-loaded elements in the clamping part

  • Housing built from a strong and durable polyamide material

  • ATEX Ex rated - Approval for installation in potentially explosive areas

  • Flexible operating temperatures: -60°C to +85°C

  • AWG: 4 -3/0

  • Cross-section: 25mm² to 95mm²

How do I wire a terminal block?

Terminal blocks are simple to wire. Wiring depends on what type of terminal block you have. These specific terminal blocks are screw-connection terminal blocks. For screw-connection, you simply need to strip a length of the plastic jacket and any insulation (33 mm for UKH series) required by the manufacturer, un-tighten the screw for the terminal and simply insert your wire and re-tighten the screw.

Complete Line:

The UKH series is apart of Phoenix Contacts vast and comprehensive portfolio. Complete line is a solution from Phoenix Contact that gives you a full range of products that all go hand-in-hand to make a perfect control cabinet. It covers all bases from connections, switching and measuring all the way to controlling, supplying and automation. Choosing complete line products makes it far more efficient to get a cabinet working.
