This feed-through terminal block from Phoenix Contact combines the benefits of tool-free wiring with lateral conductor routing. It provides secure cable connections while keeping conductors easily accessible. As wires don't need to be excessively bent, it also cuts down on cable wear and tear.
The terminal block's direct push-in technology means up to 50% less insertion force is needed to connect cables. This allows easy and direct wiring of solid and stranded conductors both with and without ferrules. To release cables, simply press the integrated lever using any type of tool without risking direct contact with any live parts.
The high-quality contact springs on this terminal block ensure it provides maximum contact and conductor pull-out forces which are vibration resistant and gas-tight. This makes the component a good choice for demanding applications such as in the chemical, petrochemical and shipbuilding industries.
