How do I mount this terminal block?


Use the rear clips to attach this feed-through terminal block to any 35mm symmetrical DIN rail in a snap.

Does this terminal block have an open side?


Yes, the right side of this terminal block is open, making it a doddle to wire up. To protect the block when it's placed on a rail end, simply use a cover plate (425-308).

The ’W’ series screw clamp terminals are suitable for ’Top Hat’ DIN Rail and manufactured from nylon 6.6 which has a continuous temperature rating of 120°C (180°C short term). They are self-extinguishing to UL94V-0 and free from cadmium and halogen. Current bars are constructed from 10 mm electrolytic copper to ensure a current loading more than nominal rating. Terminals are suitable for mounting on symmetric ’Top Hat’ rail only (BS5584:1978, EN 50022) and are touch proof in accordance with BS 3042.
