Phoenix Contact QUINT POWER - Power supplies

The range of QUINT POWER from Phoenix contact are superior power supplies that provide a seamless experience as they're feature-packed with all necessary requirements and more. These power supplies maximise the availability of your plant by utilizing technologies such as NFC (Near field communication) so you can quickly configure these supplies from a smartphone, SFB (Selective Fusebreaking), 6-times nominal current for 12ms, extended life range of over 500,000 hours and super-reliable start in difficult loads with a static power reserve (POWERBOOST).

These brilliant power supplies are designed to be mounted onto a DIN rail and contain screw connections for your cables. Not to mention, these PSU's (Power supply unit) features a preventative function monitoring that allows the device to report on critical statues before any errors occur.

Features and benefits:

  • Primary-switched

  • Super-reliable power supplies come backed by over 500,000 hours of life

  • Adjustable voltage ranges cover a vast spectrum of voltages.

  • Fast tripping of standard circuit breakers wutg dynamic power reserve - 6 times to nominal current for 12ms

  • Preventative function monitoring

  • NFC technology allows you to easily configure the PSU (configure signalling thresholds and characteristic curves)

  • Output of 24 VDC/20 A

  • Slim design with a conformal coating to allow you to install it in extreme environments

  • 93% efficient (for 230 V AC and nominal values)

How do I wire a DIN rail power supply?

The QUINTPOWER power supply unit's feature terminal blocks on both the top & bottom of the unit. You'll need to strip 7mm length from your cable and insert it into the terminal blocks. A simple screw connection (M4 screw) will then lock your cable into the terminal block, providing an output or input connection. However, please follow all manafactuer installation instructions.

What are DIN-rail power supplies used for?

Typically these power supplies are mounted into cabinets and are used in industrial circumstances. They can be used for automation, machinery or any project that has modules that are mounted on DIN-rails.
