Phoenix Contact Quint 4 Power Supply Units

The new generation of the TRIO POWER range of power supplies from Phoenix Contact are specially designed for use in machine building.
All functions and the space-saving design are tailored to the high requirements in this field.
The DIN Rail mountable PSU’s feature a robust electrical and mechanical design that ensures the reliable supply of all loads even under harsh ambient conditions.
For high system availability of all machines and systems, these new Trio power supply units offer a dynamic power boost, which starts even difficult loads with 150 percent of the nominal current for five seconds.

Features and Benefits

• Robust design
• Available in single and three phase
• IP20 protection
• Tool free push in connection
• High MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) values of over 1 million hours
• Active function monitoring with DC OK LED
• Floating signal contact to ensure the safe supply of all connected 24 V DC loads
• Temperature range from -25°C to +70°C
• Din Rail mounting

Typical Applications

Quint PSUs can be used in control cabinets within the automotive industry or process technology to ensure uninterrupted production. Can be used in environments where there is corrosive gas, dust and 100% humidity due to its conformal coating.

Phoenix Contact Switch Mode Power Supply, 10A, 24 to 29.5V DC - QUINT4-PS/3AC/24DC/10 - 2904621

Use this switch mode power supply from Phoenix Contact to energise three-phase industrial machinery. It features selective fuse breaking technology that individually trips miniature circuit breakers to prevent complete system failure in the event of an electrical fault. This unit is well-suited to demanding power and signalling environments, like those found in electrical distribution applications.
As an integrated gas-filled surge arrester gives the unit immunity to noise and undesirable electrical signals, it's a reliable option for harsh operating conditions. By using the power supply's configurator, you can adapt it to your specific application and individually set parameters such as signalling thresholds, characteristic curves and output voltage.
This product has a robust metal housing that's resistant to corrosion and withstands above-average wear and tear. It's able to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, so you can use it both indoors and outdoors.

• IP20 (ingress protection) rated enclosure that's protected against touch and objects larger than 12mm
• Conforms to EMC Directive 2014/30/EU (electromagnetic compatibility) so isn't affected by and doesn't generate electromagnetic disturbance
• Meets IEC 60950-1/VDE 0805 (International Electrotechnical Commission) safety standards for mains-powered information-technology equipment

SFB technology trips standard circuit breakers selectively, loads that are connected in parallel continue working
Preventive function monitoring indicates critical operating states before errors occur
Signaling thresholds and characteristic curves that can be adjusted via NFC maximize system availability
Easy system extension thanks to static boost, starting of difficult loads thanks to dynamic boost
High degree of immunity, thanks to integrated gas-filled surge arrester and mains failure bridging time of more than 20 milliseconds
Robust design thanks to metal housing and wide temperature range from -40°C to +70°C
