Its basic grade of isolation with a 3kV DC voltage keeps circuits electrically separated to avoid component damage and the risk of electric shocks. A SIP6 Micro package and dimensions of 16.55 (L) x 6 (W) x 7.7mm (H) ensure the device has a small footprint. Combined with through-hole mounting in a standard pinout, this makes it a doddle to slot onto a PCB.
