The STMicroelectronics Current Sense Amplifiers delivers an analog voltage output. It can sense current via a shunt resistor over a wide range of common mode voltages, from 16 to +80 V, whatever the supply voltage is. It integrate an open drain comparator with output latch function and an internal 0.6 V voltage reference connected to its input. The external resistor divider can then set the switching threshold.
