This crimping tool is suitable for use with an RJ45 Ethernet connector with an 8P8C (8 position, 8 contact) configuration. With its dual-function operation, you can first use it to splice the wires into the copper pins at the end of the connector, and then bend the gripper to hold the entire cable inside the plug, for a snug and secure fit.
