PreciForce® crimping tool for tubular terminals from 0.5 to 10mm²
This portable crimping tool is designed to crimp contacts with a size of 0.5 to 10 mm². The compact and lightweight design with manual force lever reinforcement and precision crimping makes the work easier for the user. The integrated lock can be released manually and the crimping pressure has been set (calibrated) but can also be changed.
Features and benefits
- High-quality repetitive crimping thanks to the integrated lock (automatic release mechanism)
- Amplified force due to toggle gearing for less tiring work
- Crimping pressure precisely defined (calibrated) at the factory, also adjustable
- Optimum force transmission through lever for fatigue-reducing operation
- Low weight
- Compact design
- Ergonomically designed handles
- Good grip thanks to convenient handle position, low weight, short shape and ergonomic handles
- Crimping of non-insulated crimp, tubular and compression cable pastes according to DIN 46234 and DIN 46235
- Non-insulated crimp, butt and press connectors in accordance with DIN 46341 and DIN 46267
- Capacities mm² / AWG : for non-insulated crimp and tubular terminals DIN 46234 and DIN 46235 as well as non-insulated crimp sleeves DIN 46341 and 46267 from 0.5 mm² to 10 mm²

Product Maintenance
- To maintain proper operation and long service life, the shafts and other moving parts should be lubricated regularly.
- Lubrication* is recommended at least every 10,000 cycles when the tool is exposed to dirt or other contaminants.
- The setting of the crimping die ranges should also be checked. - Adjustment of the pressure setting pin is necessary when the tool preload decreases significantly.
*Use a light non-mineral oil

Importance of high quality crimping
When a crimping tool is used on a terminal, two crimps take place at the same time. One is the electrical connection between the conductor and the terminal. The other is the crimping of the insulation, which relieves vibration and stress. It is important that the electrical connection is tight with no gaps between the wire strands and the lug. If voids exist, corrosion can occur, causing resistance and excessive heat that damages the electrical connection. Using a good quality crimping tool will ensure a complete and tight crimp, preventing future deterioration of the electrical connection and breaking of the insulation.
