Ölflex® Classic 100 SY Cable

From Lapp, the Olflex Classic 110 series is a PVC control cable ideal for a variety of applications. Protected by braided steel wire, the cable has a high degree of mechanical resistance. Coupled with its resistance to chemicals and oils, Olflex Classic 110 cables are fit for use in the roughest of operating conditions.

The flexible multi-core cable is comprised of fine-wire copper strands twisted in layers, covered in PVC insulation. Then cable then has an oxidated protective steel wire braiding, and a transparent flame retardant out sheath. The transparent sheath is useful to inspect the cable for wear and tear, such as corrosion and deterioration.

Features and Benefits

• Fine copper wire strands in accordance to VDE 0295 class 5 / IEC class 5
• Flame retardant to IEC 60332-1-2
• High resistance against acids, alkaline and oils
• Good Chemical Resistance
• Excellent mechanical protection
• Compliant with directive 73//23 (Low Voltage Directive)
• Operating temperature range for fixed installations -40°C to +80°C
• Operating temperature range for occasional flexing -5°C to +70°C

Applications

Lapp Olflex Classic 110 SY cable is very durable, and so can be used for a wide range of applications in areas where high mechanical stress is likely. It is often used in;

• HVAC Systems
• Industrial Machinery
• Machine Tooling
• Plant Engineering
