Ölflex® Classic 100CY


From Lapp, the ÖLFLEX® Classic 100 CY cable is a connecting and control cable for flexible use and fixed installation for medium mechanical use. It features a high degree of screening, with a tinned copper braid shield that makes it suitable for use in EMC sensitive environments.

The cables also features a PVC sheath that is flame retardant, oil resistant and has a good resistance to chemical media. At room temperature, it is resistant against acids, caustics solutions and certain oils.

Olflex Classic 100 CY has a small diameter is suitable for use in dry, damp and wet rooms, and can only be installed outdoors with UV protection and in observation of the temperature range.

Applications

ÖLFLEX® Classic 100 CY cables are used as supply and interconnecting cable for controlling machine tools, production lines, control equipment on conveyors. They can also be used in measuring regulating and computer units. They are often used in;

Cable Construction

• Design: in accordance to HD 21.13S1 that is VDE 0281-13
• Conductor: bare copper, fine wire strand in accordance to IEC 60 228 that is VDE 0295, class 5
• Core insulation: LAPP special PVC compound P8/1, better than the PVC compound TI2 in accordance to VDE 0207 part 4
• Identification: up to 5 cores are colour coded in accordance to HD 186 resp. VDE 0293, with green/yellow ground conductor
• Inner sheath: PVC compound TM2 in accordance to VDE 0281-1
• Screen: Braid of tinned copper, coverage 85%. Transfer impedance in accordance to HD21.13 S1 250mΩ/m at 30 MHz
• Outer sheath: PVC compound TM2 in accordance to VDE 0207 part with increased request to LAPP specification
