Allen Bradley 100-C AC Coil Operating Contactors
Experience greater efficiency, reliability, and enhanced performance with the compact yet powerful 100-C series of contactors by Allen Bradley.
These space-saving IEC contactors offer high switching power, ensuring application versatility and the ability to handle the high starting currents of modern motors and other loads. They have low power consumption and offer high connection reliability and ease-of-wiring due to having two separate power connections per pole, saving you valuable time and money. They are made of environmentally friendly materials and are RoHs compliant for added peace-of-mind.
100-C series contactors have reversible coil terminals, offer front and side mounting of auxiliary contacts, and can be attached to a 35mm DIN Rail mount or panel mounted. Breadth of line is 9...97 A. These contactors provide IP2X finger protection to prevent risk of injury to operators and risk of damage to the device. They are compatible with electronic overload relays and bimetallic relays. This series also conveniently offers common accessories for all contactor sizes to give you a perfectly integrated system.

What is a contactor?
Much like relays, a contactor is an electromagnetic device which is designed to switch electrical current through its contacts. It can switch a larger amount of electrical power than normal relays and can therefore be used for more heavy-duty, larger-scale applications, such as switching several different circuits simultaneously. It can also be controlled remotely and can be used for logic controlling to serve different functions, such as turning on some things at the same time as turning off others. Contactors feature high coil voltages and are able to switch more than 15 amperes, and they also have more input and output options than relays. They are frequently used to control electric motors and lighting systems. They contain a coil or electromagnet which opens or closes the contacts when the electrical current passes through the contactor.
Allen Bradley offer a variety of motor control products including IEC and NEMA contactors, as well as many compatible accessories, to suit your requirements and deliver maximum performance.
