They are compatible with electronic overload relays and bimetallic relays. This series also conveniently offers common accessories for all contactor sizes to give you a perfectly integrated system.

How do contactors work?
Contactors are electromagnetic devices which can switch high amounts of electrical current and work with the use of an internal coil or electromagnet, which opens or closes the contacts when electrical current passes through it.
