Thread Converters

A range of Kopex brass fittings which provide a method of matching thread forms on hazardous area approved equipment whilst ensuring the integrity and Ex approval of the installation is maintained. These thread converters meet the latest ATEX/IECEx standards and have them clearly marked on the main body of the product, allowing them to be seen easily once installed, a key component of the new standard.,Enlargers (/E) are used where the thread size of the female side of the device is larger than the male side.,Reducers (/R) are used where the thread size of the female side of the device is smaller than the male side.,Adapters (/TC) are used where a conversion is required between thread types e.g. Metric to PG.

Note

It is not recommended to use two adapters together (joined to each other).
