IP54 & IP65 Straight Fittings

Type A - IP54 Straight fitting – Fixed External Thread

Has a fixed external thread and is for insertion into knockouts using a locknut (not included).

Type B - IP54 Straight Fitting – Swivel External Thread

Has a two part construction without seals. When it is inserted into an enclosure or knockout and fully tightened, the fittings will still swivel 360°. Please note however, that this design is still not intended to be used on applications that are constantly moving. It is still intended as a ’swivel to fit’ product only.

Type C - IP54 Smooth Entry Bush

For locking conduit into plain holes in enclosures.

Type M - IP65 Straight Swivel Fitting – External Thread

Has a three part construction with additional face seals that allow it to achieve an IP65 fitting. When it is inserted into an enclosure or knockout and fully tightened the fittings do not swivel at all, meaning it is a true ’swivel to fit’ product only.

Note

Only PG7 fittings are supplied with locknuts.

What's a cable conduit?

Cable conduits are tubes used to protect and route bundles of electrical cable and wiring. They help make installing electrical systems easier and also keep your wires neat and tidy. These long round tubes come in various diameters and materials and are flexible or rigid, depending on where and how they're installed.
