Evaluation Board for ADuM3150 and ADuM4150 SPIsolator®
Analog Devices’ EVAL-ADuM3150Z evaluation board is designed to evaluate the functionality of the ADuM3150 and ADuM4150 SPIsolator® series (compatible models are listed below). The SPIsolator® series is a family of digital isolators which are optimised for use in SPI applications. The ADuM3150 and ADuM4150 are 6-channel digital isolators which include two low speed channels and a clock delay channel.
The EVAL-ADuM3150Z evaluation board is designed to evaluate the range of SPIsolator® data transfer functions and to power each side of the isolated individually. It enables the user to apply high differential voltage between the two sides of the SPIsolator® device. The EVAL-ADuM3150Z board can be connected easily to other circuit boards, instrumentation and power supplies.
With a quality PCB design, the EVAL-ADuM3150Z is a 4-layer board which includes a full power and ground plane on each side of the isolation barrier.
