Ruland shaft collar one-piece clamp screw


The Ruland one-piece shaft collar has dimensions of 12mm bore, 28mm OD and 11mm width. It is made from aluminium. It has OD flats and tapped holes for mounting shaft collars to each other or the adjacent components. It can be used in applications requiring a more uniform holding power and higher axial load capacity than setscrew collars. It is easier to remove and reposition than setscrew collars and is effective on both, hard and soft shafts. Equipment manufacturers benefit from the tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of ≤ 0.05mm) which is critical for the alignment. It is commonly used for guiding, spacing, stopping, mounting and component alignment.
