TightSight™ Clamp Meter 600A AC/DC

The IDEAL® TightSight™ Clamp Meter (model 61-757) is a powerhouse of precision and convenience, designed to make your electrical measurements safer and more efficient. This CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V rated, auto-ranging TRMS digital clamp meter can measure up to 600 Amps AC and DC current through its clamp head. It also measures up to 1000V AC and DC, Lo Z (Low Impedance AC Voltage) to reduce the possibility of false readings due to ghost voltages, frequency, resistance, continuity, capacitance, and diodes via the included test leads, and even measures temperature (⁰F/⁰C) with the included K-Type thermocouple. One of its standout features is the patented TightSight® display, strategically located at the bottom of the unit. This innovative display enhances safety and productivity by providing a secondary reading at the end of the meter, so you don’t have to bend or twist conductors or place your head near the panel to see the main display. Both displays are backlit, and there’s a built-in flashlight for working in low-light conditions. The meter also boasts a non-contact voltage sensor in the tip of the clamp, capable of detecting voltage between 40V and 600V. An illuminated red LED and audible tones alert you to voltage above 30 volts, when continuity is detected, and when the NCV senses voltage within its range. For added convenience, the clamp head includes a built-in probe tip holder, allowing you to take measurements with one hand. The meter can be suspended from a nail, screw, or magnetic surface using the compatible hanging strap mount (Universal Magnetic Hanging Strap model UMHS-757 sold separately). Its industrial-grade over-molding ensures a secure grip and offers 2 m drop protection. Additional features include HOLD, MIN/MAX, Relative, Zero, Range, and selectable Auto Power Off functions. The meter comes with three 1.5V AAA batteries and an easy-open storage pouch with a belt loop for storing the meter, probes, and thermocouple. With an IDEAL® TightSight™ Clamp Meter, you’re equipped with a versatile, reliable tool that makes electrical measurements easier and safer.
