Reduce the need for cables when installing IP cameras. The Power over Ethernet (PoE) system allows the installer to connect the data and IP camera power supply into an ethernet line through an injector. Power is supplied exclusively through the network cable, a seperate power cable is not needed. Non IP cameras can also be connected to the system through a PoE splitter which separates out the power and data again.
