Eaton Fibre Cartridge Fuse, 10 x 38 mm, 30 A - - FNQ-R-30

This Eaton fuse protects electrical circuits that are designed to allow power surges. Its time-delayed function ensures high inrush current is tolerated under normal operating conditions. These surges are typically produced by electric motors or fluorescent lights on start-up. In a short-circuit event where overcurrent is sustained, this 30 A fuse will still reach breaking capacity in a fixed period. Under such circumstances it offers fast-acting protection, thereby preventing equipment damage.

• Gives fast-acting protection in the event of a short circuit
• Resilient fibre body for high durability
• Compatible with standard 600 V AC and 300 V DC components
• Midget fuse for supplementing primary branch-circuit fuses and to provide backup overcurrent protection

How do I install this fuse?

This fuse can be installed in multiple circuit positions. The standard size module can be mounted in open blocks, DIN rail holders, panel mount holders and in-line holders.

Where are these 'T-rated' fuses most commonly used?

Fuses like this one are ideally suited to critical industrial or commercial applications that have specific current limitation requirements.
