Eaton Cartridge Fuse, 5.53 mΩ Resistance, F Speed - ABC-15-R

Protect your electrical components against power surges with this cartridge fuse from Eaton. When it receives current over its 15A rating, an internal resistor melts, breaking the circuit before damage can occur. This fast-acting fuse is ideal for use with cabling and less sensitive components. Thanks to a 120-second response time at 200% rated amperage, it's sensitive enough to protect your equipment against potential electrical faults, yet sufficiently robust to withstand normal current fluctuations. This helps minimise downtime and production loss by ensuring that the fuse will only blow under true fault conditions.

Features & Benefits

• Dimensions of 6.4 (height) x 31.7mm (length) for use with standard fuse holders
• Nickel-plated brass end caps offer effective connectivity and corrosion resistance for a long service life
• Ceramic body material provides high-level thermal and arc protection
• Meets UL 248-14 standards for fuses rated 60A or less, making it a reliable overcurrent protection device

How do I know which fuse I need?

A simple rule of thumb is to calculate the amp rating of your equipment by dividing the power rating (W) by the voltage rating (V) and then adding 10% to allow for slight, harmless power increases.
