Eaton Cartridge Fuse, 33kA DC Breaking Capacity, 2A Current Rating PV-2A10F
Keep harmful currents from reaching your industrial equipment with this cartridge fuse from Eaton. A breaking capacity of 33kA DC means it can withstand high levels of fault current before blowing. This unit is designed for use in photovoltaics applications such as solar panels. It can interrupt the reverse currents, multi-array faults and low overcurrents commonly found in photovoltaics systems. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 10 (diameter) x 38mm (length), it's compatible with standard fuse holders.
Features & Benefits
• Low power loss of 1.0W for energy-efficient operation
• Time constant of less than 1ms for rapid response
• Time constant of less than 1ms for rapid response
How does this cartridge fuse work?
When excess current passes through the system, the heat it generates melts the fuse's internal filament, causing the electrical circuit to break.
Where should I use a ceramic cartridge fuse?
A ceramic fuse typically has a higher tolerance for heat when compared to a glass fuse. This makes it suitable for use in appliances that are prone to overheating or areas where there is a risk of fire.
