RS PRO 100 mA Glass Cartridge Fuse, 5 mm x 20 mm, Speed T
This slow-blow fuse from RS PRO is designed for electrical devices which need a high inrush of current to start. It allows for an initial surge of power without blowing the circuit and is commonly used in equipment that runs on a motor.
The fuse can withstand repeated cycles of electrical surges which means it's capable of protecting equipment that is frequently switched on and off. A nickel plating on its brass housing ends makes it corrosion resistant to stop the fuse from rusting. This coating also doesn't wear easily to enhance the component's lifespan.
A fuse like this is suitable for protecting fluorescent lights from current overload. It meets the IEC 127-2/III (International Electrotechnical Commission) required standards for miniature fuse-links. It's also Restriction of Hazardous (RoHS) compliant so contains only trace amounts of any substance that could be harmful to you.
