Eaton Cartridge Fuse, 200kA Breaking Capacity, aR Application Category - FWP-32A14F

Protect your kit from short circuits and overloads with this aR cartridge fuse from Eaton. When combined with a gG-type fuse or circuit breaker, it reacts quickly when it detects faults and offers full protection for semiconductor applications. Its F-rated fuse speed indicates that it's fast-acting and will blow should the current spike above its 32A rating. A high rupture capacity of 200kA means it's got your back even in the event of a substantial power surge. This type of fuse is well-suited to protecting DC common bus configurations, voltage starters and DC drives.

Features & Benefits

• Compact size of 51 (length) x 14mm (diameter) helps you save space in tightly packed setups
• Ferrule ends make it ideal for use with Eaton CH series fuse holders, allowing you to mount it on a DIN rail

What's rupture capacity?

Rupture capacity tells you the maximum current the fuse is able to interrupt without exploding or breaking. It always needs to be greater than the fault current of your circuit.

What's an overcurrent?

An overcurrent is any current higher than the normal level your system operates at. It's important to use a fuse like this one to stop overcurrent from reaching downstream equipment, which could suffer electrical damage.
