The Intesis gateway is designed to integrate any LON device or installation with a BACnet-based Building Management System (BMS) or any BACnet/IP or BACnet MS/TP controller. This integration allows LON devices, along with their network variables (SNVT) and resources, to be accessed and controlled from a BACnet-based control system or device as if they were an integral part of the BACnet system. Likewise, it enables BACnet resources to be accessible from the LON network, ensuring smooth interoperability and bidirectional communication between the LON and BACnet systems for enhanced building automation and management.
