    PSoC™ 4100S Max from Infineon

Deliver Leading Performance with CAPSENSE™ Technology

Designing for human machine interface (HMI) applications just got easier with Infineon's newly announced PSoC™ 4100S Max family of microcontrollers based on Arm® Cortex®-M0+ CPU.

Ideal for industrial automation, consumer, smart home and home automation, and large home appliances, the PSoC™ 4100S Max paired with 5th generation CAPSENSE™ touch-sensing technology blocks offer HMI and touch sensing solutions for differentiated design.

    Design High-Performance, Low-Cost HMI apps with PSoC™ 4100S Max

The PSoC™ 4100S Max is a highly integrated, low-cost Arm® Cortex®-M0+ solution with next-gen CAPSENSE™ technology, for industrial control, home appliance and home automation.

It features programmable analog and digital blocks, including configurable op-amps, low-power comparators, and Multi-Sense Converter (MSC) blocks with CAPSENSETM technology. The MSC block API is backwards compatible with the CSD block to preserve code compatibility. The CAPSENSE™ blocks provide both self and mutual capacitance sensing, and a driver is provided for increased usability.

Innovate your product to the next level with the CAPSENSE™ MSC Blocks

Suitable for complex touch HMI interfaces, the 5th generation CAPSENSE™ MSC (Multi-Sense Converter) block provides a range of improvements, including improved SNR based on the new ratio-metric analog architecture.

Advanced hardware filtering enables modern sleek user interface solutions, whilst the higher sensor capacitance range supports a wider variety of sensors.

The PSoCTM 4100S Max has superior liquid tolerance, providing a robust and reliable touch HMI solution for harsh environments.
