    As a leading distributor of electronic components, RS understands the importance of maintaining effective ESD controls. It is registered to the ESD control standard ANSI/ESD S20.20 – an achievement recognised by the Electrostatic Discharge Association.

    ISO 9001:2015 - the leading management standard for companies that trade on a business-to-business basis.

    ISO 14001:2015 verifies that companies operate an effective environmental management system aimed at supporting environmental protection and the prevention of pollution.

    ISO45001:2018 specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. Complying with this standard has enabled RS to control risks and improve OHS performance.

    ISO 27001:2022 is the international standard for organisations to establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and continually improve an information security management system (ISMS).

    ISO 17025:2017 an international standard establishing the requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

    ESD S20.20:2021 covers the requirements for designing, establishing and maintaining an effective electrostatic discharge control programme.

    As a member a BSIF Registered Safety Supplier (RSS) scheme, RS have signed a binding declaration that the safety equipment we offer meets the appropriate standards, and fully complies with the PPE regulations and is appropriately CE marked.

    RS have achieved the highest certification recognised by EcoVadis (see the certificate here), a rating reference point for corporate social responsibility. The assessment focuses on 21 sustainability criteria that are grouped into four themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

    RISQS - the UK rail industry supplier qualification scheme providing a single common registration, qualification and audit process.

    JOSCAR registered - Valued by some of the largest purchasers in the defence community and indicates that you have gone through the process and have demonstrated your commitment and credentials to the industry.

    Electronic Components Supply Network Member The ECSN is an industry organisation which provides members access to in-depth statistics and analysis of the electronic components market. This industry data helps guide our range development decisions, and membership provides opportunities to network with customers and peers, gaining insight on the everchanging market landscape.
