Duplex Chain
Duplex chain types are a kind of roller chain that comprises dual chain link rows, whilst utilising a sprocket or roller in order to drive other moving components in machinery or vehicles. Duplex - referring to two - chains can often be identified by roller chain code types with a suffix of 2. Similar to simplex and triplex types of roller chains, duplex roller chains are available in a variety of pitch sizes and standards.
Is a Duplex chain the same as a Simplex chain?
Although similar in design, a Duplex chain features two roller chains running parallel rather than a single one found with Simplex chains. The row of plates in a Duplex type chain also feature an identical number of sprocket teeth slots.
