    How do Petlier Modules use the Seebeck Effect?

    Petlier may be be used as a thermoelectric power generator in which they can generate energy using the "Seebeck effect". It works when two wires made from different metals are joined at two ends to form a loop, a voltage develops in the circuit when the two junctions are maintained at different temperatures.

    Electrons present in the hotter metal flow toward the cooler metal because electrons move to where energy is lower. In Petlier Modules, the Seebeck Effect develops a current flow by applying a temperature difference on both sides of the Peltier module.

    How does the Petlier Effect work?

    The Petlier Effect or Thermoelectric effect is similar to The Seebeck Effect but is mainly used for heating and cooling purposes. When electricity is passed through the module, electrons evolve in one semiconductor element and absorbed by the other.

    This allows one side to absorb heat and the other to radiate heat, so the hot and cold sides can be switched depending on the current direction. This is why these modules are good reversing cooling/heating effects.
