Isopropyl Alcohol is ideal for cleaning electronic equipment because it evaporates quickly, leaves very little reside and is also non-conductive making it safe to use on electronics components. Isopropyl Alcohol is an effective solvent for various contaminants including grease, dirt, oil, dust and flux residues that can accumulate on electronic components due to manufacture and handling. IPA cleaner is available in different concentrations with the higher concentrations used in electronics cleaning, it is also supplied in different formats other than liquid form such as Isopropyl Alcohol spray and Isopropyl Alcohol wipes.
