USB A to USB C Cables
USB cables - also known as Universal Serial Bus cables - provide connection from computers and other host devices to peripherals, such as keyboards, printers, network adaptors and pointing devices. They are also used to provide electrical power to portable devices, such as mobile phones, portable media players, or handheld games consoles via a wall adaptor or computer.
What are USB A to USB C cables used for?
USB C connectors are thin, rectangular connectors and are recognisable as smaller than USB A and USB B connectors. They are similar in size and shape to Lightning cables, although USB C connectors are hollow and have their pins on the inside, whereas Lightning connectors are solid with the pins visible on the top and bottom of the connector. USB A to USB C cables are commonly used as charger cables for many electronic devices and will be familiar to many as mobile phone chargers, handheld games console chargers, and even charger/power cables for some models of laptops or notebooks.
