This kit contains 2,700 assorted stainless steel washers that you can use to prevent nuts, bolts and screws from coming loose. It’s part of our trusted RS PRO range.
Washers are simple yet essential devices used in homes, businesses and industrial settings. As well as tightening and securing screws, you can also use them to spread the load of a screwed fastening over a larger area. There are different types for different applications, three of which are included in this kit.
Plain washers are most common and are used for things like furniture assembly and white goods (e.g. washing machines). Spring washers are especially good at absorbing shocks and are used for mechanical engineering and automotive applications. For extra secure fastening, internal tooth washers have serrated prongs (or teeth).
All the washers in this kit are made from robust and corrosion-resistant stainless steel and are RoHS-compliant for restricted substances.
