MACX MCR Loop Powered Isolators

Phoenix Contact MACX MCR series loop powered isolators for the electrical isolation of analogue signals. Available as single or dual channel devices with active sensor technology and a supply voltage of 6 V dc to 30 V dc.

Phoenix Contact Isolator, 12.5mm, 30.5V - MACX MCR-SL-I-I-ILP - 2905278

This Phoenix Contact isolator creates a physical break in the galvanic connection along a signal path. It's used to combat ground loops, a common disruption in industrial control where two signals transmitting at a distance are distorted due to different ground potentials. Breaking the connection eliminates the distortion issues caused, ensuring that your signal remains unimpeded.
The isolator has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. It has an IP20 (ingress protection) rating, which means it's touchproof and safe to handle without fear of electric shock. As it's a passive isolator, it gains its power source from the signal transmission loop, so you don't need to connect it to auxiliary power. The spring-cage connection technology makes it simple to plug into a terminal block, while screw terminals on its base guarantee a secure and reliable connection.
