RS PRO Red 2.5 mm² Test Lead Wire, 13 AWG, 498/0.08 mm, 5m, PVC Insulation

This heavy-duty test lead wire is useful for high-current testing and monitoring applications in tough industrial situations. It has an outer diameter of 3.9 mm and a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm².

The wire's stranded core of 498 bare copper conductors makes it flexible and more resistant than solid wire. It's insulated in a 0.85 mm-thick red PVC sheath that won't crack or melt between temperatures of -20°C and +80°C. Available in a length of 5 metres, it's easy to assemble test leads to any length necessary.

Like all RS PRO products, this test lead wire is tested for safety and quality. It meets electrostatic control standards and is flame-retardant and halogen-free. The international science safety company Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has recognised and approved this product.

Thanks to its durability, this test lead wire is useful for chemical or manufacturing environments involving extreme temperatures or contact with radiation or oils.
