MRF24J40 RF Remote Control Demonstration Board
The DM240315-2 from Microchip is an Evaluation Kit designed to demonstrate several technologies in an RF Remote Control application. The remote features a 3.5” Graphical TFT LCD with Resistive Touch, mTouch™ Capacitive Touch keys with plastic overlay, a five-way Joystick. The remote communicates with a host via an on-board Microchip MRF24J40MA 2.4 GHz RF Transceiver and a Microchip ZENA™ wireless adapter.
In focus is the integrated solution of the Microchip graphics library, mTouch™ solution library, USB library and RF4CE protocol running on one 16-bit microcontroller.
The board is pre-programmed with the complete firmware to demonstrate all the remote control commands. This software and the interface between the controller and the ZENA™ wireless adapter can be explored through installation of free software available from www.microchip.com/mla.
The board provides three power supply options; USB, three AAA batteries or by a 9V power supply.
