Honeywell Bimetallic Thermostatic Switch, 250V AC, +50°C Opening Temperature - 2455R 9082-462 L50C

Protect your set-up from overheating or excessive cooling with this open-on-rise thermostatic switch from Honeywell. It has an NC (normally closed) contact configuration, which helps with cool-down by only opening your circuit when your system reaches +50°C. The thermostat will then automatically switch your device back on at +35°C to bring your system back up to your set temperature. This switch has bimetallic contacts that expand and contract with changes in heat to activate its climate control functions. To ensure a safe flow of current, this thermostat's contacts are electrically isolated from the mounting bracket.

Features & Benefits

• Voltage rating of 250V AC for use in high-power systems
• Snap-action mechanism for rapid switching
• Automatic reset when the temperature falls to +15°C below operating temperature for increased efficiency

Applications

• Heating systems and boilers
• Industrial ovens
• Scientific incubators

How do I fit this thermostatic switch?

You can fit this switch using a solder tab terminal. It’s designed to be soldered to your circuit wires, ensuring safe and secure installation in your system.
