This bearing heater from SKF has been designed with easy application in mind. It uses a special method of heating based on high-frequency induction to deliver maximum efficiency. Advanced electronics heat the bearings to the temperature you set, making them easier to mount onto a shaft. This means you can install them without using hand tools, which can cause damage to the bearing or the shaft. Once mounted, the bearing cools down, resulting in a strong interference fit.
