General Purpose Enclosure Types & Features

The type of enclosure that you chose is entirely dependent on the application that you are using it for. Our range of general purpose enclosures feature a variety of different materials, such as aluminium, plastic and fibreglass with some of these being reinforced, flame-resistant and corrosion-free. Our aluminium enclosures are available in a variety of types such as aluminium alloy and die-cast aluminium.

We also have a range of different project boxes, instrument cases, and enclosures are available in a wide variety of materials, such as aluminium (die cast and alloy), plastic and fibreglass, with some of these being reinforced, flame resistant and corrosion free.

We also have a range of colours to choose from, as well as fully transparent boxes and those with clear lids for quick visual inspection & monitoring. 

You can also browse the range by IP rating (ingress protection rating) and IK rating (impact protection) to ensure your enclosure selection offers the right level of protection from dust, moisture, and impacts. For example, IP65 enclosures are suitable for protection against low-pressure water jets from any direction, while IP55 are best for protection against dust.
