STMicroelectronics PWM Controller


The STMicroelectronics STCMB1 family is a 20V, 75kHz surface mount 20 pins PWM controller. This device is a transition mode (TM) PFC, a high voltage double-ended controller. It has an electrical rating of 800V with 6mA current. The PFC section uses a proprietary constant on-time control methodology that does not require a sinusoidal input reference, thereby reducing the system cost and external component count.
