Research has shown that men are more likely to become entrepreneurs than women, but in recent years we've seen more and more female entrepreneurs entering the business industry . The graphic above shows that human health and social work is the industry that is mostly female dominated, with 78% of the workforce being female. The industry where men are dominating is construction where 87% of the workforce is male. Some industries closing the gap include public admin and defence, wholesale, retail and repair and administrative and support services, where the workforce is almost split equally.
