DS1820/1822/1825 1-Wire Digital Thermometer & Thermostat

The DS1820/1822/1825 devices are temperature-to-digital converters with over/under-temperature detection. They feature a 1-Wire communication interface and powered from that data line. Applications include PCs, mobile phones, office equipment and data loggers.

Measurement temperature range: -55 to +125°C
Conversion Time (Max): 93.75 ms (9-bit), 750 ms (12-bit)
Unique 64-bit serial code stored in on-chip ROM
Power supply: +3.0 V to +5.5 VDC or from data line

DS18S20 High-Precision 1-Wire Digital Thermometer

Maxim DS18520 digital thermometer provides a 9- bit centigrade temperature measurement, it also features an alarm function with non- volatile user programmable upper and lower trigger point. Each device has a unique 64-bit identification code, which allows multiple DS18S20 to function on the same 1–wire bus; making it simple to use one microprocessor to control many DS18S20 distributed over a large area.

• Derives power from data line (“parasite power”)—does not need a local power supply
• Unique 1-Wire® interface requires only one port pin for communication
• Multi-drop capability simplifies distributed temperature sensing applications
• Requires no external components
• Alarm search command identifies and addresses devices whose temperature is outside of programmed limits (temperature alarm condition)
• Ideal for use in remote sensing applications (e.g., temperature probes) that do not have a local power source
• Each device has a unique 64-bit serial code stored in an onboard ROM
