RS PRO 500 V Maximum Voltage Rating Mains Protector, DIN Rail
Protect your control and switchgear from power surges and contact arcing with this RS PRO mains protector unit. It's suitable for voltage ratings up to 500 V (volts), so it can be used in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
It comes with colour-coded red and black wire terminals for a simple and flexible connection. Mains suppressors like this one are used to prolong the life of contactors and prevent damage to equipment. Electricians, engineers and electronics manufacturers use them frequently.
The unit casing is moulded to DIN specifications for mounting on any standard circuit rail. This surge protection unit has been tested for quality and meets American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards for sensitive devices.
